Our wonderful children jumped at the opportunity to represent Bolton during the OVO Tour of Britain on Saturday, 14th September 2019.  It was wonderful to see the local community coming out in force to support another key sporting event and the Walmsley School Children rose to the occasion.  We had 50 children from reception through to year 6 helping to spell out B-O-L-T-O-N repeatedly by wearing lettered t-shirts.

Councillor Sam Connor and the EPIC Committee put on a wonderful show, including creating a bicycle out of crates and parachutes in the park, which looked great on the ariel shots, together with the mass of 'blue t-shirted' Walmsley children.  It was great to see our Walmsley Children on TV!

Our thanks to Councillor Sam Connor and the EPIC committee for their ongoing work in support of the local area.

The school have received some wonderful feedback on how amazing our children are, and school would like to thank all the parents and children for helping to support the event and add to a fantastic atmosphere.
